Chiefs tight end and pop star are ready to adopt a rescue animal, an insider reports.
After a quiet performance during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 28-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers last week, tight end Travis Kelce is likely looking to make a statement against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8.
Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, won’t be able to attend the AFC West showdown on Sunday. While the 34-year-old pop star is slated to perform an “Eras Tour” concert in New Orleans that night, she’ll be supporting him in spirit.

Just before Swift kicked off her first show at the Caesars Superdome, a report emerged that the famous couple is ready to take a major step in their relationship.
Life & Style reported on Oct. 25 that Swift and Kelce are ready to adopt a rescue kitten together.
“They love the idea of saving a cat’s life and know there are so many in need,” a source told the outlet. “They get a lot of pleasure doting on the cats together. They love snuggling up with them and Travis has set up all sorts of scratching posts in the house for them.
“He’s always buying them new toys and is even planning to build them a cat patio so they can have outdoor time without having to risk them getting lost or worse.”
Swift is already the proud owner of three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button. While Kelce doesn’t currently have a cat, he and his older brother, Jason, had one growing up. “Flash was a f****** legend,” the All-Pro said on their “New Heights” podcast in March.
