(Sports news, tennis news) Roland Garros is considered the place where love begins for some tennis players, before that there was the couple Tsitsipas – Badosa and now there is Sinner and Kalinskaya.
Jannik Sinner, the 2024 Australian Open champion, recently officially spoke out about his relationship with Russian tennis star Anna Kalinskaya at the ongoing Roland Garros.

Speculation about a relationship between Sinner and Kalinskaya has been rife after the pair were seen together at a number of recent tennis events. The rumours were further fuelled when they were seen together on the practice court at Roland Garros and were confirmed when Kalinskaya was in the stands cheering on Sinner as he played in France.
Not stopping there, Sinner was also present to watch Kalinskaya’s first round match. To their delight, both won, with Sinner defeating Christopher Eubanks in three sets and Kalinskaya defeating Clara Burel 7-6(3), 7-5.
Sinner, 22, is three years younger than Kalinskaya and previously dated Nick Kyrgios. The Italian confirmed: “I don’t like to talk much about my personal life. Yes, I’m with Anna, but we keep everything very private. I won’t say anything more.”

Sinner is having an impressive season. He won the biggest title of his career at the Australian Open and then titles at Rotterdam and Miami Open.
Thanks to this success, Sinner reached his career-high ranking of world number 2. Not only successful on the court, Sinner was also happy in his private life when confirming his relationship with Kalinskaya.
Sinner was previously linked to Italian model Maria Braccini, but the pair never confirmed their relationship. Now, the rising Italian star has taken things one step further with her new relationship.
Sinner always wants to keep his private life private, he once shared: “No matter who I date, I will never make it public on social networks. I want to keep my life private. I don’t need to post photos to prove that I’m dating. I’ve never posted photos with my parents, maybe only once with my brother.”

Both are now focused on competing at Roland Garros. Sinner played home opponent Richard Gasquet in the second round and won easily in 3 sets with the scores of 6-4, 6-2, 6-4.
The 23rd seed in the women’s singles, Kalinskaya, will face a tough challenge in the second round (8:35 p.m., May 30). Her opponent is Bianca Andreescu (Canada), a player currently ranked 228th in the world but who won the 2019 US Open.
