On November 8, the list of 2025 Grammy nominations was announced by the Recording Academy. Taylor Swift is one of the names that attracted attention when she was present in 6 categories. The album The Tortured Poets Department released in April brought Taylor 5 nominations: Album of the Year, Record of the Year ( Fortnight ), Song of the Year ( Fortnight ), Pop Album of the Year, Best Music Video ( Fortnight ).
Additionally, Taylor received an additional nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her performance of Us featuring Gracie Abrams.
In her music career, the pop singer has won the Grammy for Album of the Year four times: Midnights (Grammy 2024), Folklore (2021), 1989 (2016) and Fearless (2010). This is the highest achievement by an artist in the 66-year history of the Grammy Awards. Fans expect Taylor to set a new record at the 2025 Grammy.
Taylor Swift wasn’t the only one making history when the 2025 Grammy nominations were announced yesterday, however. Beyonce dominated this year’s nominations with 11 categories, making her the most nominated artist in the history of the awards. The Halo singer has a total of 99 nominations throughout her career.
